Embright recognizes the importance of providing timely access to appointments and care as a key aspect of delivering high quality member services and ensure access to needed care.

Embright is committed to ensuring high-quality services and a supportive member experience.

To ensure the continuous and coordinated flow of medical care in the time frame, manner, and level that facilitates optimal treatment interventions and outcomes for members when a provider terminates from Embright’s network.

Embright shall provide for notice and a fair hearing to an Embright licensed practitioner in any case in which action is proposed to be taken by Embright to restrict, suspend or terminate the practitioner’s ability to provide health care services to Embright members.

Only professionally competent licensed practitioners who continuously meet the qualifications and standards established by the Credentialing Committee of Embright shall be allowed to contract with Embright and/or provide health care services to Embright members.

The Credentialing Program outlines the standards, processes, and policies used to evaluate a licensed practitioner’s credentials, qualifications, and other criteria whether the practitioner should be approved to provide health care services to Embright members.

To ensure that Embright maintains a sufficient number and types of primary care, specialty care providers, and behavioral health within its network.

Embright conducts routine testing and assessment in order to ensure ongoing provider directory usability as part of continuous quality improvement efforts that support member understandability of the information in directories.
